NAGBABALA ang National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) laban sa maling Paggamit ng Government Fuel at Police Vehicles.
Binalaan ng NCRPO ang lahat ng police personnel sa hindi awtorisadong paggamit ng government fuel at police vehicles para sa pribado o personal na mga gawain.
Binigyang-diin ng opisyal na ang mga ito ay mga pampublikong resources na dapat gamitin lamang para sa opisyal na tungkulin ng pulisya.
Inatasan ni NCRPO Officer-in-Charge Police Brigadier General Christopher Abrahano ang lahat ng police district at unit na palakasin ang monitoring sa pag-isyu at pagkonsumo ng fuel, vehicle mileage, trip tickets, at dispatch records, at agad na imbestigahan ang anumang hindi pangkaraniwan o hindi maipaliwanag na pagkonsumo ng gasolina.
“Government fuel is not personal fuel, and police vehicles are not for personal use. These are public resources entrusted to us to serve the people. Anyone who misuses them will be held accountable,” ayon kay PBGen. Abrahano.
Gayunman, ayon sa NCRPO na hindi dapat isakripisyo ang kaligtasan ng publiko o ang pagiging maagap na pagtugon kapalit ng pagtitipid sa fuel.
Dapat laging handang gamitin ang mga police vehicle para sa patrol, emergency response, crime prevention, imbestigasyon, at iba pang mahahalagang police service.
“We will eliminate waste, but we will not compromise police visibility and response. Efficiency means using our resources wisely while keeping our personnel and vehicles ready to respond whenever the public needs us,” saad ni PBGen. Abrahano.
Pinaalalahanan din ang mga commander na pananagutan nila ang mga tauhan na hindi sumusunod sa mga patakaran.
Ang sinumang personnel na mapatutunayang gumagamit ng government fuel o police vehicle para sa hindi awtorisado o personal na gawain ay maaaring maharap sa administrative case.
Depende sa uri at bigat ng paglabag, maaaring ipataw ang kaukulang administrative sanction, kabilang ang suspension o dismissal mula sa serbisyo, kung nararapat.
“There will be no special treatment. Regardless of rank, anyone who misuses government resources must answer for it. Every liter of government fuel and every police vehicle must serve its intended purpose—protecting the people and maintaining peace and order in Metro Manila,” ani NCRPO chief.
